Can I start at any point? YES!! You can start at any point during your fertility journey, pregnancy, postpartum or beyond!
Does it matter if I had a C-Section? You can begin the postpartum program regardless of method of birth!
What is PPCES/PPDCC? PPCES stands for Pre- and Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist and PPDCC stands for Pre- and Postnatal Diastasis Core Consultant. I received both of these trainings from Fit For Birth. I am also part of the Fit For Birth Holistic Fertility & Pregnancy Safe Program. Fit For Birth is a health education and training company for fitness & wellness professionals. Their goal is to βeducate Pre & Postnatal Leaders to inspire the use of natural methods to avoid Infertility, Mechanized Childbirth, and Disease in our Infants.β You can find more information about Fit For Birth at www.getfitforbirth.com.
Does it matter how long I am postpartum? There is no maximum amount of time! You can begin at any point in your life.
What equipment do I need for virtual classes? A home practice can be super convenient with a little bit of preparation. Start with what you have! A mat and 2 sets of weights (2lb or 3lb and 5lb or 6lb) would be ideal. In my classes, I use props such as bolsters, yoga blocks, pilates balls, hand weights, large resistance bands, and small resistance bands. If you don't have some of the equipment, no need to worry! Oftentimes, common household items can be used in lieu of purchasing equipment.
Bolsters: pillows, blankets, couch cushions, a lazy dog
Yoga blocks: stack of books, small stool, bottom step, squatty potty, shoe box
Pilates Ball: yoga block, book, pillow, blanket
Hand Weights: Bottles of water, milk containers with handle (can be filled with water), books or canned veggies in a bag, resistance bands, body weight
Resistance Bands: pantyhose, leggings, towel, belt, yoga strap, extra large rubber band
For those who are interested in purchasing equipment, below are the links to some of my favorite finds.

Special Considerations: Those who experienced any form of pregnancy loss are always welcome and supported.
